A yellow alert has been issued for Ahmedabad and Gandhinagar. Additionally, a heatwave is predicted today for Surat and regions including Saurashtra, Porbandar, Diu, and Bhavnagar in Gujarat. Yesterday saw temperatures of 39.2 degrees in Ahmedabad and 38.6 degrees in Gandhinagar, while today's readings spiked to 41 degrees and 40 degrees, respectively.
