A fierce fire erupted in a scrapyard near Sanand GIDC, Ahmedabad, engulfing a large quantity of rejected refrigerators and debris. Though there were no casualties, significant damage is anticipated. The cause of the fire remains unknown as firefighters from the Sanand Industries Association rushed to the scene to contain the blaze.
