After celebrating the Ganesh festival with great faith and enthusiasm for ten days in Surat, devotees bid adieu with a heavy heart to Lord Ganesha. The Visarjan was conducted in the 20 artificial ponds arranged by the municipality. Lord Ganesha was bid farewell with the chants of "Ganapati Bappa Morya, Pudchya Varshi Lavkarya."
