Farmers will receive significant solar fencing assistance.

In the current year's budget, the government plans to increase the allocation for the purchase of solar power kits to assist farmers with solar fencing in their fields. The plan involves allocating an additional Rs. 50 crore for this purpose. Last year, in a similar scheme, 13,000 farmers benefited, and this year, 33,000 are expected to gain from it. Under this program, all registered farmer-account holders in the state will receive assistance of 50%, or Rs. 15,000, depending on the total expenses incurred. The state's farmers are expected to derive maximum benefits from this initiative, according to Agriculture Minister Raghavji Patel's request.
