26,873 anti-rabies vaccine doses administered to patients
Surat's New Civil Hospital has administered 26,873 doses of the anti-rabies vaccine till September, including 8,200 doses to old patients. The hospital records approximately 2,500 cases of dog bites monthly, with 771 in September alone. These vaccinations have helped protect patients from rabies infections.
