Today, on the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti, a unique celebration was held at Chowk Bazaar, where tribute was paid to Gandhi's statue. Surat Police Department and the Excise Department organized an awareness program for the public. In attendance were prominent figures such as Surat Mayor, Gujarat BJP President C.R. Patil, municipal officials, and students from various schools. A large number of people gathered to participate in these events.
