“Won’t Accept The Dead Body Till The Time I Get Justice” Jignesh Mewani Over Casteist Incident

In a disturbing incident, a Dalit youth named Raju, also known as Jayanti Chauhan, was subjected to physical assault by the owner and staff of a hotel for serving him a lesser quantity of dal-baati. The incident took place near Limdiya Chokdi in Khanpur Taluka of Mahisagar district. Tragically, the assault resulted in the death of the Dalit youth. Today, #Congress #MLA Jignesh Mewani rushed to SSG Hospital in Vadodara, where the dead body was brought. Jignesh Mewani and the victim's family members alleged denial of justice until that point and refused to accept the body.
