Rajkot, experiencing its lowest rainfall in five years with only 23 inches this season, is grappling with a looming water scarcity issue. To secure a timely and adequate water supply for Rajkot's residents, Mayor Nayana Pedhadia penned a letter to Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel. In the letter, she requested the allocation of Narmada water to Rajkot under the SAU plan starting from November 20.
