The negligence of the light department of Surat municipality came to light.
The electricity pole located at Premanand Garden Gate in Singanpore collapsed following the Biparjoy storm. Even after six months, the electricity pole has not been restored. Despite repeated submissions, the municipal authorities have not taken any action. Narendra Pandav, the Vice Chairman of the Light Department, came to know about this and urged the officials to restore the power pole immediately.
