Navratri, the most auspicious festival for goddess worship, began with special prayers and darshan. From the early hours of the first day, devotees thronged Vadodara's Bahucharaji Mata Temple, run by the Gaekwad Parivar Sansthan, for darshan. The temple had made special arrangements for devotees' convenience.
