AMC’s TP Committee on alert over the encroachment sin the plot:

In Ahmedabad city, several unauthorized construction activities have been reported, including on plots owned by the Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation (AMC). The matter was discussed in the Town Planning Committee, and a strict action plan has been proposed to deal with these unauthorized constructions. In cases where encroachments have been removed and individuals attempt to illegally occupy government land again, the Land Grabbing Act is invoked. Furthermore, due to chargeable FSI (Floor Space Index), AMC is expected to generate more than seven crores in revenue in six months, as opposed to the initial outlay of 891 crores, resulting in a significant profit.
