Animal Husbandry Minister Raghavji Patel mentioned that the state government is committed to ensuring that both farmers and herders in Gujarat can achieve higher incomes, economic prosperity, and self-sufficiency. As part of the Government of India's "National Animal Diseases Control Programme," a total of 123 lakh cattle have been vaccinated in the state. The government is also launching the third round of vaccination against brucellosis disease, which is associated with contagious abortion.
