In a daring incident last night, two armed robbers, wielding local-made pistols, targeted a petrol pump situated on 100 feet road in Anandnagar, Ahmedabad. The criminals managed to escape with cash and six mobile phones belonging to the pump's employees. However, the quick response of motorists on the road, along with the assistance of two vigilant police constables from the Anandnagar police's dog squad, led to the apprehension of the culprits. Despite their attempt to rob the petrol pump's store, they only made away with a meager sum of Rs 3,160 in cash but did manage to loot five mobile phones from the employees.
