The Surat Municipal Health Department conducted a survey on mosquito breeding in 832 schools. As part of the operation, when waterlogging and dirt were found around the campuses of different schools, notices were issued to 39 nodal officers. Also, 31 schools, including LP and Sunflower, were charged an administrative charge of Rs 3700 as a fine for mosquito breeding.
