The Ministry of Railways has issued a notification to acquire farmers land for a new goods train track from Surat Gothan to Hazira. Farmers have expressed anger about this. The Congress has filed a protest on behalf of the farmers. Today, the Surat Olpad Taluka Congress Committee, along with the farmers, submitted a complaint to the Provincial Officer at Olpad Sevasadhan.
