Following a High Court order, all bridges leading to the royal precinct of Gondal were closed for heavy vehicles. The municipal authorities enforced the closure by placing barriers on both sides of the bridges. The decision to close both bridges came after the Collector issued a public notice, and there are alternative arrangements for heavy vehicles, such as diverting traffic to Sureshwar Marg. The current condition of the Sureshwar Marg bridge is also being assessed for safety.
