The 555th birth anniversary of the revered Shiromani Shriguru Nanakji, the founder of Sikhism and the first saint of Sikhs, was joyously celebrated in Vadodara. Elaborate religious programs marked the ‘Prakash Parva’ festivities at the Gurudwara near Khanderao Market, known as Nanakwadi. A significant gathering of the Sikh community participated in the celebrations, engaging in the sacred ‘Guruvani’ recitals and the devotional bhajan kirtan in honour of Guru Nanakji.
