A team from the Rajkot Municipal Corporation's Health Department found that peanuts pressed with oil were being made from peanuts infested with moths and fungi in a godown called RSG near Chunarawad Chowk. About 4 tonnes of raw materials and approximately 100 kg of oil was destroyed on the spot by the health department. Also, the process of taking the oil sample and sending it to the laboratory will be carried out. The health department issued a notice to the trader regarding maintaining hygienic conditions.
