There have been over 30 cases of Dengue reported from 1st-3rd September and as many as 1,347 chlorine tests were carried out by AMC, of which only 38 have passed the chlorine tests. Apart from this, around 355 water samples were collected for bacterial examinations, of which 1 sample has been reported unfit. Despite several efforts put in by AMC, the epidemic of mosquito-borne and waterborne diseases does not seem to be in control.
