Cathlab is a boon for heart disease patients of Saurashtra and Kutch
After the inauguration of Gujarat's first cathlab by the Chief Minister on the 5th floor of PMSY building in Civil Hospital, Rajkot, the operation of this cathlab was started yesterday. 7 out of 10 patients underwent angiography on the first day. Whereas today, a patient with 90% blockage will undergo angioplasty. The patients of Saurashtra and Kutch area now will not need to be referred to another hospital for further treatment of heart disease and will get free treatment here.
