AMTS has prolonged the timeframe for school trip bus fares. The new rate is Rs. 1500 per bus, and the time limit has been extended to 3 hours. An additional 30 minutes will incur an extra charge of Rs. 500. The minimum fare for 3 hours for municipal schools is set at Rs. 750 per bus. AMTS has received 34 increments in the past 11 months for educational tour bus increments, encompassing 20 from private schools and 14 from municipal corporation schools.
