Amrit Modi has stepped down from the position of secretary at Sabarmati Ashram. Despite his resignation, the ashram trustees have affirmed that he will maintain his association with Sabarmati Ashram in the days to come. Atul Pandya, the director of Sabarmati Ashram Preservation and Memorial Trust, mentioned that due to health issues associated with age, Amritbhai has relocated to live with his son. Nevertheless, he will remain connected with the ashram.
