The state president of the Congress Scheduled Caste Morcha, Hitendra Pithadia, has been taken into custody for publishing derogatory remarks about the Ram Mandir priest. Pithadia fabricated a misleading post with the intent to defame the individual, causing hurt to religious sentiments. The Ahmedabad Cyber Crime unit has now arrested the Congress leader. The cyber cell has filed charges under Sections 469, 509, 295A of the IPC, and the IT Act.
