A businessman residing in Satellite and owning a spa near Mansi crossroads is accused of obtaining 1.5 crores from four traders at a monthly interest rate ranging from 5 to 10 percent. The funds were intended for starting a spa branch and acquiring furniture. Despite the traders having paid more than 50 lakhs, they allegedly faced threats from the moneylender for non-payment of interest. The threats included the removal and sale of kidneys, along with the implication in false cases. Subsequently, the businessman has been reported to the authorities, and a complaint has been filed against him by the four traders.
