Meenaben Patel, an assistant community organizer in the Urban Community Development Department of the Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation, sustained a head injury during a dispute with a woman washing clothes on the footpath. The incident occurred while Meenaben was monitoring the homeless under the Navrangpura Ashram Road Income Tax Bridge. A stone was thrown during the altercation, leading to injuries. Based on the complaint, Navrangpura police initiated legal proceedings against the accused, Rajulaben Chauhan, under IPC 332, 186, and 294 B.
