A novel initiative by the Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) has surfaced, showcasing a collaboration with the Coca-Cola Company to repurpose plastic waste. Utilizing plastic bottles discarded by spectators at the Narendra Modi Stadium, AMC has crafted benches from approximately 500 kg of discarded plastic cups and bottles. Additionally, reflective jackets for cleaning workers have also been created from this recycled material, demonstrating a sustainable and creative approach to address plastic pollution.
