Today, elections for the positions of president and vice president will take place in 272 bar associations across the state, including Ahmedabad. Approximately 5,500 lawyers in the metro court, 2,500 in the high court, 2,500 in the district court, and 2,500 in the city civil court are expected to participate in the voting process. The unique "One Bar One Vote" system will be implemented for all 272 bars, with results anticipated to be announced late at night. A substantial participation of 1.20 lakh lawyers, including senior lawyers, is expected in this election.
