A ceramic trader residing in Krishnanagar was assaulted by four individuals, including his former partner, at his godown. They kidnapped him in his own car, withdrew Rs. 15,000 from an ATM, and demanded Rs. 2 lakh. The kidnappers withdrew an additional Rs. 8,000. Upon receiving a call from the businessman's wife, the culprits fled, stating that someone was approaching. The victim has lodged a complaint with the Krishnanagar police station.
