The Surat PCB successfully apprehended Mohammad Ansari, who had been on the run for the past 21 years for his involvement in a murder case in Udhna police station in 2003. The incident occurred when Ansari and his friend Mehraj Ali Rahmani had a dispute with Dayashankar Gupta, leading to a brutal murder. Ansari, who had been evading authorities, was located in Jharkhand. Legal actions have been initiated following his arrest.
