Ayodhya's airport, formerly known as Maryada Purushottam Shri Ram Airport, is set to be inaugurated shortly, accompanied by a significant name change. The airport will now be recognized as Maharishi Valmiki International Airport. The first phase of this modern facility has been completed at a cost exceeding 1450 crores. The terminal building's facade showcases architectural elements inspired by the upcoming Shri Ram temple in Ayodhya, while the interiors are adorned with local arts, paintings, and murals depicting the life of Lord Sri Rama.
