In a gesture of support, the family of the late police constable Mahaveer Singh Rana, who lost his life in the line of duty, received an accident compensation of Rs. 1.04 crores. Additionally, other entitlements under police service, including gratuity, amounting to Rs. 27.33 lakhs, have been disbursed in phases.
