During Uttarayan, the Cattle Nuisance Control Department (CNCD) department of the municipality organized a special initiative to feed cows, receiving generous donations of 22,000 kg of green and dry grass from around 470 visitors. Jaggery was also included in the provisions for the animal feeding program.
