In alignment with the ongoing Road Safety Month, the Gujarat Government, supported by NIC, has introduced the "One Nation, One Currency" project. As part of this initiative, an e-challan application has been launched on mobile devices. Motorists will now receive on-the-spot e-challans for traffic rule violations, and they can promptly settle these challans. Failure to pay within 135 days will result in legal action against the non-compliant driver. The move aims to enhance road safety and streamline the enforcement process.
