The Bombay Stock Exchange's Sensex witnessed a sharp decline of 1628 points on the last trading day, continuing its downward trend with over 600 points drop at Thursday's market opening, reaching around 71000. The National Stock Exchange's Nifty also started with a fall of over 150 points. While HDFC Bank maintained stability, shares of LTIMindTree, Power Grid Corp, Asian Paints, and SBI Life Insurance experienced declines. Conversely, Adani Ports, Apollo Hospitals, Ultratech Cement, Coal India, and Reliance Industries displayed active trading on the Nifty.
