The Ahmedabad City Police conducted a comprehensive campaign from October 01, 2023, to January 24, 2024, aimed at auctioning, destroying, and returning seized property from various police stations in the city. As a result, property with an estimated value exceeding 30 crores was destroyed following court regulations. The initiative also involved identifying items for auction and locating the original owners to facilitate the proper handling of the goods in question.
