The police acted on a tip-off about Azim Sheikh, a resident of Kalupur Panch Khadki, who was transporting a quantity of e-cigarettes through Gandhi Road Valanda Ni Haveli. Upon apprehension, 50 e-cigarettes were confiscated. Further investigation led the police to Manoj Lakwara's shop, Arihant Kitchen in Meghaninagar, revealing a stash of 628 e-cigarettes valued at Rs 9 lakh. Lakwara had been supplying the entire city under the guise of a kitchen shop.
