Surat Crime Branch Apprehends Chain-Snatching Culprit
The Surat Crime Branch has successfully apprehended the suspect involved in a chain-snatching incident targeting an elderly woman in the Sheinganpore area. The accused, identified as Sunny Babubhai Patel, was arrested in Nanpura Machiwad. Patel had gone to the extent of changing the number plate of a moped to evade detection. The police, conducting a thorough investigation, not only recovered the stolen gold chain but also seized the moped and other valuable items.
