A doctor managed to secure admission to medical school at the age of 17 using a counterfeit marksheet, allowing him to pursue a career in medicine. After practicing for decades, the accused, Utpal Ambukumar Patel, faced legal action at the age of 60. The court recently pronounced a verdict, sentencing him to three years in prison and imposing a fine of ten thousand rupees, 43 years after the initial incident.
