ACB investigation has revealed that Sunil Rana, a ward inspector in the municipal estate department, misused his authority by transferring properties exceeding 2.75 crores to his wife and children between April 1, 2010, and March 31, 2020. Following the complaint filed by ACB Ahmedabad, the Municipal Deputy Commissioner Estates-TDO has suspended Sunil Rana from his position pending further investigation.
