Dealers oppose new number plate installation; approach the high court.
Thirty-six vehicle dealers have filed a petition in the High Court opposing the requirement to install new number plates before delivering vehicles. They have sought a stay on the implementation of the circular for handing over RTO operations. Then, on the plea of the dealers, the High Court issued a notice to the Transport Commissioner and the RTO.
