The Crime Branch apprehended two suspects, Avinashkumar Mahto, and Shyamkumar Kurmi, associated with the Jharkhand gang, along with the recovered stolen mobile phones. The accused were involved in stealing expensive phones from crowded areas. The team seized a total of 58 mobile phones from both individuals. It has been exposed that in Jharkhand, young individuals were trained in neighbouring villages to pilfer mobile phones, and men were enlisted on a monthly salary basis to steal high-value mobile devices.
