Amid escalating anti-social activities, a concerning trend of alcohol-related gambling has emerged in Gujarat. A recent incident in Ahmedabad uncovered a residence operating as both a liquor and gambling den. In Ranip, Ahmedabad, a bootlegger was found conducting gambling activities within a house, where liquor was also being sold. Prompted by this discovery, the police intervened and apprehended six individuals engaged in gambling. A total of 287 bottles of liquor and beer were confiscated. The house owner, Bhagaji Thakor, has been arrested, and a case has been registered against him by the police.
