In a rather bizarre case from Vadodara, a car salesman at a renowned car showroom disappeared after the down payment and booking amount for a customer’s car was transferred to him on a digital payment app. The customer filed a complaint with Fatehugunj police station. The car salesman left his job at the showroom as well. This case prompted a police investigation into such a fraudulent transaction.
