The North West Zone of the Municipal Department conducted intensive checks in all wards regarding businesses contributing to public road dirt and nuisance. On February 12, 2024, a total of 121 units were inspected, with 94 units receiving notices. The inspection resulted in the seizure of 21.5 kg of plastic, fines amounting to Rs. 1,41,200, and the sealing of three units for non-compliance with waste management regulations.
