Following the recent ban on plastic bags and single-use plastics in seven zones of Ahmedabad city, AMC appeals to citizens to adopt cloth bags. Notices have been issued to 2,444 bulk-selling trader units, collecting a total administrative charge of Rs 16.30 lakh. Additionally, 150 units have been sealed, and 335.6 kg of banned plastic has been seized and disposed of.
