Indian Army Rescues 12 Individuals Stranded on Vyas Bet Island
In a daring rescue operation, the Indian Army successfully saved twelve individuals, including a saint, who were stranded on Vyas Bet Island near Barkal village in Shinor Taluka, Vadodara. Heavy rainfall and waterlogging had left them stranded since Saturday. Despite adverse weather conditions and rising waters, rescue efforts commenced. Initially, the Air Force and Coast Guard attempted rescue but faced challenges due to the weather. Finally, the Army, equipped with boats, successfully carried out the rescue operation, providing medical assistance to those in need. Vyas Bet is a small island in the Narmada River, and the stranded group belonged to a local temple's priestly family.
