The municipality has initiated the nation's premier smart parking pilot project near Gotila Garden on Sindhu Bhawan Road. Equipped with magnetic sensors, the smart parking system raises a red flap and locks the vehicle securely once parked. Users can unlock their vehicles by scanning the QR code provided on the Smart Parking platform. However, if the car remains unclaimed for five minutes, it will automatically be locked again. To prevent misuse, attempting to move the vehicle with the raised flap can result in damage to the tires.
