In a recent announcement in the Gujarat Assembly, Minister of State for Home Harsh Sanghvi revealed plans to recruit 11 thousand new personnel in the Gujarat Police in the upcoming year. The recruitment drive includes 597 new Police Sub-Inspectors (PSIs) and 6600 Constables, including State Reserve Police (SRP) positions. Sanghvi also highlighted the significant addition of 12,816 police posts in the past two years, emphasizing the government's commitment to strengthen the law enforcement in the state.
