City police successfully uncovered a liquor smuggling operation camouflaged as plastic waste. Acting on specific information, Ichhapore Police apprehended two suspects transporting 12,000 bottles of Indian-made foreign liquor, valued at Rs.12 lakh, hidden in a tempo near Bhatpore village. A total of Rs.27 lakhs was seized, and legal actions were taken. Three individuals, including the supplier, have been declared wanted in connection with the case.
