A devastating fire erupted in Khwaja Flats, Patel Vas, Danilimda village, Ahmedabad, early in the morning, originating from a meter and spreading from the parking lot to the second floor. Panic ensued among residents, resulting in injuries to nine individuals, including a 15-day-old baby. The victims were swiftly transported to LG Hospital in Maninagar for treatment, where the infant tragically succumbed to injuries. The remaining eight individuals are currently undergoing medical care. The fire brigade team promptly arrived at the scene, extinguishing the fire and rescuing over 27 residents from the affected building.
